The Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst role is highly visible, offering exposure to PWP’s senior business leaders. As part of a three person team, the Analyst will be responsible for preparing all corporate level financial reporting, including budgeting and projecting as well as various strategic analyses. The position represents an excellent opportunity for candidates to hone problem solving, modeling, and leadership skills and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop financial models and presentations for strategic discussions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management reporting for Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller
  • Interact with finance department in preparation of financial statements and analysis for investors and auditors
  • Interface with cross-divisional team in preparation of budgets, projections and financial analysis
  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise in the application of metrics and measurement to business process within specific domains
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis of data with the ability to demonstrate significance
  • Provide report building expertise and support in the creation of performance monitoring mechanism
  • Create and manage dashboard reports for management review


Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and techniques with ability to analyze, evaluate and form independent judgments
  • Ability to interpret data to improve business processes
  • Ability to learn quickly and function independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Capable of working on multiple projects with a high attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with focus on building relationships with internal stakeholders

Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience
  • Proficient in MS Office required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools
  • Experience in interacting with databases using SQL
  • Comfortable building models and managing large datasets and analyzing the output to identify issues
