The Business Partner will join a team of twelve HR professionals to provide generalist support for the Firm’s Advisory business and firmwide initiatives.  He/she will work with the Senior Business Partner to advise the business and spearhead key people and business priorities.  The candidate should excel working in a demanding environment and thrive on a role offering a wide degree of variety.  The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, eager to learn and willing to work hard.  The fast-paced nature of the business requires candidates who possess multi-tasking abilities, strong follow-up skills and the ability to operate under time pressure.  Flexibility, strong communication and interpersonal skills, team player attitude and attention to detail are required.  The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the global Analyst performance review and compensation processes
  • Partner with global HR colleagues to develop and implement the firmwide performance review process
  • Help drive and execute year-end processes including compensation and performance reviews. Partner with business managers to ensure reviews are crafted and delivered in a productive manner.
  • Recruitment for junior investment banking roles including developing job descriptions, reviewing applications, screening candidates, offer letter design and generation
  • Assist with the development, planning and implementation of the continuing education training curriculum
  • Coach managers and employees on select employee relations matters, terminations, and performance management
  • Help lead and execute cultural initiatives including the Alumni Network and Volunteer program
  • Partner with managers of the Administrative professionals for recruiting and guidance and support on employee relations matters
  • Identify creative solutions and ideas to strategically support HR Advisory priorities
  • Work closely with the immigration attorney to drive visa processes including Greencards
  • Process divisional transactions in Workday including hires, transfers, terminations
  • Conduct exit interviews

 Desired Skills and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 – 8 years of experience, preferably in financial services
  • Organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Excellent judgment and trustworthiness with highly confidential information
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS)
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System, iCIMS preferred but not required
  • Experience with Workday, preferred but not required
